Cruising the Greek Islands on Celestyal Cruises is a must

Thinking about a cruise around the Greek islands? Our latest Cruise Ship Tour, in the carousel above, offers a deck-by-deck look at the 1,664-passenger Celestyal Olympia — one of three vessels operated by Greek islands specialist Celestyal Cruises.

Based in the Greek port town of Piraeus, near Athens, Olympia operates affordable three- and four-day trips to such famed Greek islands as Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini.

Longtime Royal Caribbean fans will recognize the ship as the former Song of America, one of Royal Caribbean's iconic vessels from the 1980s. Built in 1982, it sailed for Royal Caribbean until 1999, when it was sold to now-defunct Sun Cruises. It also has sailed for British-based Thomson Cruises.

Created by veteran travel writer and ship photographer Peter Knego, the Olympia photo tour is part of our ongoing series of cruise ship galleries.
